Monica recruits across the globe! Her roots are in Chicago, Illinois where she started her career as a generalist recruiter. She earned an honorable discharge in the 80s as a Marine Corps Sargeant. Her military occupation was Human Resources and Recruiting. Due to market demand, she evolved into a specialist in Engineering & IT technical recruiting to meet client requirements. Clients were early UNIX with AT&T Bell Labs, Rockwell International, Northrop, and McDonald’s IT department to name a few. Monica learned the development process from concept to completion. Studied technical roles and job descriptions, ad campaigns, and spearheaded career fairs. She connects and knows the geography, how to converse – the lingo, and understands the importance in career leveraging. Since 1990, with almost two decades in California’s Silicon Valley, Monica has successfully tracked and analyzed the challenges and changes in recruitment.
